Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review

I really like a products that contain rice ingredients. Sometimes, I did wash my face using rice water and it might sound a little odd but I did! I have been using this product for quite a while and this have become part of my skincare family. I usually use this 4 times a week or depending how my skin is looking and feeling. Back then, Skinfood masks are quite popular and everyone really like it but I didn't buy this back then because I was extremely obsessed with sheet mask and after that when I get enter more deeply into beauty world, I try different types of masks besides sheet masks. Today, I'm going to review Skinfood rice wash off mask and let's jump into the review.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
A wash-off mask that transforms skin into a pure and soft texture, and contains rice bran water.

How to use:
After cleansing, gently massage with ample amount over dry face avoiding eyes and mouth area. Concentrate around nose area and repeat it using grains. Rinse with lukewarm water after 10 to 15 minutes of massage.

The packaging is simple in a plastic jar packaging with a plastic lid. The product name and Skinfood brand is printed on textured paper. I'm kind of disheartened when there's no spatula provided.

The colour of the mask is white and smells like body lotion, which is pleasant to me. The mask has light, watery consistency but not too runny and the texture is a bit like porridge to me. When I used it, the mask stay on the skin and does not drips. It has cooling effect when applied, so I feel more relax and refreshed. This contains tiny particles and I guess it oryza sativa or known as Asian rice, which is to be used to exfoliate the skin and to remove dead skin cells. It feels almost like a scrub than a mask to me.

Basically, I give a massage to my whole face. Like I mentioned, it give a bit of cooling effect and the tiny particles of the mask, does not harsh to my skin and its very gentle. When it sits on my face, it feels very moisturizing and a bit sticky. When I washed it, my skin extremely feel very very soft. My skin more softer than I wash using real rice water. The soft feeling is different than using real rice water or skinfood rice wash off mask. Apart from that,  I could see a little bit of a brightening effect but it's not very noticeable. I just love it that it feels so smoother on the skin!

Pros:
- I can use it as a mask and scrub.
- Makes my skin soft and smooth
- Affordable
- Not harsh to the skin
- Won't make the skin dry and feel moisturize.

Cons:
- Jar packaging without spatula/tool
